The County is seeking qualified Vendors to provide Devices, to County departments on either a monthly rental/lease or purchase basis. The County is also seeking the provision of maintenance services for Devices purchased pursuant to an awarded Contract, as well as equipment currently owned by County departments. All such Devices provided to the County must be New. “New” is defined as equipment that has never been sold or leased and is not reconditioned or refurbished Devices other than New are unacceptable to the County’s needs. The County currently spends approximately three million dollars ($3,000,000) annually on copiers, copier supplies and two hundred forty-five thousand dollars ($245,000) annually on maintenance of County-owned copiers. • Identify Device printer suppliers/dealers • Pre-qualify Device suppliers/dealers to provide rental equipment and services • Establish contracts with Device supplier/dealers to develop a rental program that • meets the County needs. • Establish contracts with qualified Vendors to provide maintenance services to Devices and County-owned copiers.
