Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Napa County Departments of Information Technology Services and Community Outreach are soliciting proposals for a new content management system (CMS) and a redesign of the County website. Goals of the project will be to: Implement a new, extensible, user-friendly and secure web-based CMS that includes modern tools for creating, organizing, publishing, and maintaining digital information on the Internet; Develop and implement a new website design that incorporates common County branding elements, is World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and Section 508 standards compliant, and is optimized for responsive design: display on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices; Train system administrators, developers, and content providers in the use of the new CMS; and Migrate selected existing content/images/documents to the new website.
