Pierson Street Rehabilitation Project covers the section of Pierson St between West Third St and Santa Rosa Creek. Within the project limits, the existing 6-inch water main will be replaced with a new 8-inch main. Associated valves, meter boxes, and service connections will also be replaced, and two new fire hydrants will be installed. The project also includes replacement of the existing 6-inch sewer main, including all laterals, manholes, and cleanouts within the same limits of paving. The existing storm drain system will be replaced, except for the final 25 feet of the line, and six new catch basins will be added along with storm drain extensions to improve drainage capacity. Additionally, the roadway will be widened to accommodate on-street parking and will include new 4-inch curb and gutter and sidewalks on both sides of the street.
