Work under this task will include: • Photo documentation to record preconstruction conditions for the project site and adjacent properties. • Develop a photo log for construction activities with descriptions of the work being recorded, date and time. • Daily inspections and preparation of construction daily reports. • Review of contractor submittals that may include surveys, shop drawings, demolition plans, work plans, or material submittals that may be required by the contract documents. • Perform special inspections of the contractor’s work. • Assisting the COUNTY with the interpretation of plans and specifications. • Assisting the COUNTY with negotiating and preparing Change Orders. • In the event that it appears that the CONTRACTOR may submit a claim for extra work, maintain records so that the claim may be appropriately refuted or approved...
