The Consultant shall be tasked with assessing the existing conditions of the sidewalks, roadway, existing at-grade and subgrade utilities and providing optimal design to the full extent of the Project’s improvements along the corridors. The proposed design should ensure that sidewalks are ADA-compliant while minimizing the impacts to adjacent properties. The Consultant shall present a design based on evaluation of the Project’s objectives, technical feasibility, and consideration of available funding. The selected Consultant shall receive a complete 30% preliminary engineering submittal consisting of plans, opinion of probable cost, and computer-aided design (CAD) files prior to continuing to a 35%, 65%, 95%, and 100% design completion upon approval from the StreetsLA.
