The City of Eastvale (City) is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide concrete maintenance, repair and installation services on an on-call basis. The work related to repairs includes, but is not limited to: the repair and/or replacement of sidewalks, curbs and gutters, drive approaches, cross gutters, spandrels, ADA ramps, and other related concrete work. All work shall be performed in conformance with the latest edition of the City of Eastvale’s policies and procedures, and the Riverside County Standard Plans and Specifications. The successful contractor shall maintain a valid Class A or Class C-8 license throughout the term of the agreement and shall comply with the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for Temporary Traffic Control Zones when performing work within the City. All contractors and subcontractors shall carry full insurance coverage, with the City named as an additional insured, as appropriate. The following description is intended to outline the general duties of the on-call maintenance contractor for concrete and asphalt materials within the City of Eastvale. This list is not inclusive. If the Contractor believes additional tasks are warranted, such tasks must be clearly identified in the proposal as an “Add Alternate” for the City’s review and consideration. This contract is subject to prevailing wage rate laws and compliance with Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) regulations. All contractors submitting a bid and subcontractors listed in their bids shall be registered with the DIR and, if awarded a contract, maintain a valid registration.
