This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit competitive proposals from experienced and qualified Contractors to educate and assist claimants in all phases of the wage claim process, including judgement enforcement. DIR is seeking these services from a highly qualified, culturally competent, linguistically proficient in English and Spanish and other languages, Contractor to serve as “community navigators” for claimants and develop and provide webinars for claimants. A Community Navigator (Navigators) is a trained professional who provides legal information to vulnerable claimants and serves as a guide through the wage claim process. Consistent with the need to provide education to workers for navigating the claims and mitigating deficiencies and redundancies. DIR seeks to enter into an agreement with a Contractor that will utilize trained professionals to educate and guide vulnerable claimants through the claim and wage recovery process, including completing all the forms and research needed to resolve the wage claim. The primary work area is develop and execute educational webinars/workshops.
