Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the County Executive (CEO) seeks to ensure the transition individuals make from jail to the community is successful while promoting public safety. To this end, the CEO is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify a California community college to provide education services at the County’s Reentry Resource Center for formerly incarcerated individuals. The education services shall include: Educational Assessment Career and Technical Certificate Program – Certificate Program may include, but not limited to: Community Worker Hospitality Management Computer Science/Information Technology Business Management and Accounting Health Occupation Drug and Alcohol Studies Peer Leader Training Media Art California community colleges who offer programs that serve the needs of formerly incarcerated individuals with demonstrated effectiveness in providing evidence-based and research-informed services that address criminogenic needs and designed to reduce recidivism are invited to submit proposals.
