The Scope of Work for the Community Connectors involves collaboration with Code Enforcement, Rapid Response Teams, and the Bakersfield Police Department to continue implementing the street outreach and engagement operations in Old Town Kern. This program is aimed at providing targeted outreach to individuals living on the streets and helping those individuals access essential services that support attaining housing and housing stability, reducing vulnerability, and transitioning into safer environments. Additionally, this program will incorporate beautification efforts, such as litter and debris removal, to enhance the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces and contribute to a safer, more welcoming community.
