Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Center Assessment: i. Amenities: After Community Outreach and Engagement has been conducted, Consultant should determine what types of amenities will be required in order to operate the pre-determined programming. This may include facilities such as a basketball court, fitness room, community meeting space, etc. ii. Location: The Consultant will determine the top three (3) qualifying sites and describe improvements or rehabilitation (if an existing building is selected) that would need to be completed for the sites to be functional and meet the community needs, including accessibility improvements and potential site constraints. The location of the Center should be optimally situated in the City in order to be accessible to the greatest number of residents. If feasible within the budget, this section could include visuals and diagrams for sites illustrating possible uses, which will be used to communicate their viability to community members. In determining appropriate sites, the following factors should be assessed: a. Scalability: The location of the Center should be selected with scalability in mind. This includes consideration of future population growth (based on current demographic trends) and site analysis to ensure the Center can be expanded when additional funding becomes available.
