PG&E Energy Policy & Procurement team is responsible for administering energy contracts with third parties. The team currently uses antiquated and disjointed systems requiring manual workflows. We are seeking to select and implement a modern solution to effectively and securely track, store, and administer all energy bids/contracts throughout their life cycle for effective analysis, decision-making, and reporting. The selected solution will address the key Business Objectives shown below: • Receive & organize bid information through offer forms and documentation across several bidders in the most streamlined way for comparative analysis. • Enable streamlined CPUC and PG&E reporting on development phase requirements, including regularly repeating & ad-hoc reports. • Team can view and report out RFO information, from high level status views for leadership & adjacent teams to detailed visibility into RFO communications, documents, bid data, and processes for Independent Evaluators (external auditing). • Track and prioritize outstanding issues by contract type for issue management • Maintain compliance with strict separation of business between CPE and rest of the business, Gas Electric & Gas • Team can ensure all internal requirements for a contract solicitation are completed on schedule. • Team can retrieve, reference, and analyze historic contracts and documentation by searching for multiple key attributes or prompting questions to help with standardization and guide decision making. • Streamline and centralize bidder questions regarding RFO bid submission. Enable all team members to have access to the history of communication with respective bidders. • Teams can receive and organize bid supporting documents by bidder & bid document with minimal administrative work. • Receive documents from counterparties to confirm development status and progress in the most streamlined way.
