1. Review site conditions, consider all potential hazards (geologic, hydrologic, seismic, by attending a field exploratory meeting. etc.) 2. Prepare an analysis and establish a matrix/criterion to be used to determine the appropriate configuration of the proposed bridge so it is outside of the existing creek geometrics and wetted perimeter of the stream, and eliminate any interference with the existing stream 3. channel. Topographic surveys of the project location including the bridge and roadway approaches as needed for design, in-stream cross sections as needed for hydrologic analysis, and ROW for any construction needs. 4. Geotechnical Investigations and Foundation Recommendations. 5. Complete the Design of the selected alternative in compliance with Local, State and Federal requirements and Design Standards. Format for the Plans and Specifications shall be Caltrans as modified by Trinity County in English units. Special Provisions based on the current Caltrans Technical Specifications shall be prepared by the Consultant for use by Trinity County in preparing Bid Documents. A draft version shall be submitted for review and comment by the County, and the consultant shall make any valid revisions to the plans and specifications as required by said reviews, including temporary easement for construction if needed. 6. Conduct Peer, Design, and Constructability Reviews. 7. Prepare an Engineer's Opinion of Cost upon completion of final revisions to the Plans and Specifications. 8. Provide an RE Binder including all Calculations, Quantities, Construction, Grade and Survey Notes as well as any other information that maybe useful to us during the inspection and construction of the project.
