The City of Calabasas (City) has prepared this Request for Proposals (RFP) to select an engineering firm to provide professional civil and traffic engineering services. The work under this contract will be for the design of improvements to the traffic signal hardware and systems related to pedestrians to improve pedestrian access and safety based on an approved Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Cycle 12 project. The duration of this contract is expected to be for an initial term of two years from the award date of the contract, which will allow for services during the design, bidding, and construction phases of the project. The engineering consultant entity responding to this RFP is hereafter referred to as “the Proposer”. This RFP is intended to evaluate and rank Proposers based on their qualifications, experience, technical capabilities, understanding of the project, proposed scope of work, proposed fee, and understanding of municipal engineering and public infrastructure projects
