The San Francisco Human Services Agency (SFHSA) and the Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS) announces its intent to seek proposals from nonprofit organizations interested in providing a citywide nutrition education program for older adults and adults with disabilities. The purpose of this program is to deliver evidence-based nutrition education that supports informed food, nutrition, and physical activity choices aimed at improving or maintaining health. The program will also address nutrition-related conditions, promoting lifestyle changes that empower individuals to actively manage their health and wellness. Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), DAS aims to ensure equitable access to high-quality nutrition education that meets the diverse needs of San Francisco’s older adults and adults with disabilities.
