• Preliminary Engineering o Project administration and meetings o Pavement analysis to identify maintenance treatment options and concept level budgets. Should also include identifying critical items needed for a complete project scope for construction, such as: curb ramp upgrade assessments, address surface drainage issues, monument perpetuation and potential utility conflicts. o Submit a technical memo outlining the final outcomes of the tasks noted above. • Project Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) o Project administration and meetings. o Prepare plans and contract documents based on selected maintenance treatment options including all items of work identified during the preliminary engineering phase. Submittals shall be at 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% progress. o Provide bid support by assisting City in responding to questions during the bid process. • Construction Phase o Project administration and meetings. o Provide quality control inspection and observation for all paving work which may include field density testing using nuclear density gauge to monitor compaction. o Provide day to day monitoring during paving operations and observations including temperatures, thickness, and placement of materials. o Review and recommend acceptance of pay estimates. o Provide laboratory testing of pavement materials samples collected and mix tests. o Provide final report summarizing the results of laboratory tests and compaction.
