A. Provide licensed professional engineers, engineering technicians, surveyors, inspectors, or other qualified personnel to supplement City staff. Assignments may range from short-term project support to multi-month engagements. B. Assist City staff in the planning, design, and implementation of capital improvement projects. This may include field investigations, preparing construction documents, reviewing plans and specifications, preparing cost estimates, and coordinating with utilities and other agencies. C. Support the City in reviewing development applications for compliance with municipal codes, engineering standards, and public infrastructure requirements. This may include plan checking, reviewing drainage and traffic reports, and drafting conditions of approval. D. Provide inspection services for public works and private development projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications. Assist in construction management tasks, including coordination with contractors, progress documentation, change order review, and final project closeout. E. Support the City’s infrastructure data management needs, including field data collection, GIS updates, and input of new public assets into the City’s asset management system.
