B. PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1. Project goal and objectives – To provide a card reader system for CFS that integrates with other security measures to assist in accomplishing the Countywide vision of a comprehensive and complete security solution for County occupied buildings. 2. Deliverables/Requirements – Vendor installing the Badge Access Control System needs to work in concert with Landlord’s general contractor within the existing construction timeline to ensure both parties (County and Landlord) stay within the terms of the Lease and deliver final product in a timely manner as defined within Lease terms. a. The “rough-in” portion of the work should be completed within five (5) weeks of the Contract execution. The remainder of the work is scheduled to be completed in July 2025. b. Contractor Requirements: All Bidders must be Lenel Certified installer, repair/service provider, as well as a Lenel Certified “Value Added Reseller” (VAR). Vendor is expected to offer standard equipment warranties and maintenance as needed. c. Access Control vendor shall furnish and install: 63 CARD READERS/9 GATE READERS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT – BREAKDOWN: 1. Equipment by Comm Room/associated card readers: • Comm 1 Room 160: (Equipment to support 35 Card Readers / 3 Gate Readers (G8, G10, G11)) • Two (2) 16 channel lock power supplies and one (1) 8 channel lock power supply w/back up batteries, one (1) dual reader intelligent controller, eighteen (18) dual reader modules in local intermediate distribution frame. • COMM 2 Room 205: (Equipment to support 21 Card Readers / 2 Gate Readers (G6, G7,)) • One (1) 16 channel lock power supply, one (1) 8 channel lock power supply w/back up batteries, one (1) dual reader intelligent controller and eleven (11) dual reader modules in intermediate distribution frame. • Comm 3 Room 228: (Equipment to support seven (7) Card Readers / four (4) Gate Readers (G1, G2, G4 & G12)) • Furnish and install one (1) 16 channel lock power supply w/back up batteries, one (1) dual reader intelligent controller and five (5) dual reader modules in IDF.
