Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Mendocino Unit (MEU) Bar Towels, Aprons, and Mats Rental services, as described herein: Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to provide weekly rental of bar towels, aprons, and mats as described in Exhibit A, Scope of Work. 2. The Agreement may be amended to increase services at the rate(s) specified in Attachment 1, Rate Sheet. 3. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement. All references to subcontracting or Subcontractors as found herein are not applicable to this Agreement. 4. The services shall be performed at CAL FIRE Chamberlain Creek Fire Center, 15800 Highway 20, Fort Bragg, CA 95437. 5. Any reference to CAL FIRE Project Representative shall also include their designee. 6. This Agreement will commence on January 01, 2026 (Estimated) or upon approval by CAL FIRE, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by CAL FIRE. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by CAL FIRE Project Representative. This Agreement will expire on December 31, 2028 (Estimated). The services shall be provided during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law. 7. Detailed Scope of Work A. Contractor agrees to provide CAL FIRE with clean bar towels, aprons, and mats that are in good condition on a weekly basis as directed by CAL FIRE Project Representative. Good condition means items shall be free of rips or tears and not worn beyond normal wear condition. Items found to be not in good condition shall not be charged to CAL FIRE. B. Contractor shall provide each item listed in Attachment 1, Rate Sheet weekly as directed by CAL FIRE Project Representative. C. The Estimated Weekly Quantity only reflects half the estimated total inventory as half will be in-service while the other half are being cleaned. 1) Any necessary increase in quantities can only be done via amendment to this Agreement. 2) Any decrease in quantities will be at the direction of CAL FIRE Project Representative. D. Upon weekly delivery and collection, Contractor shall obtain a signature on itemized documents detailing actual count delivered and collected from an authorized CAL FIRE employee at the location. E. Contractor agrees to provide laundry bags and any other collection devices as needed. F. All bar towels, aprons, and mats furnished must be equal to or greater than the industry standard and be of material, color, and construction approved by the CAL FIRE Project Representative. G. Items provided under this Agreement are not required to be Arc Rated Clothing (ARC). H. Contractor shall provide logos for mats as stated in Attachment 1, Rate Sheet. Contactor shall attach logos to mats. When rented mats are replaced, Contractor shall remove logos from items being replaced at no additional charge, and either return to CAL FIRE Project Representative or attach to replaced rented mats as directed by CAL FIRE Project Representative. I. All bar towels will be cotton terry cloth, ribbed, in solid white or blue, and measuring approximately 16 by 19 inches. J. All aprons will be black in color and made of nylon fiber. K. All mats will be black in color, consist of nylon fiber, with rubber backing, and be three feet by four feet (3’x4’), three feet by five feet (3’x5’), four feet by six feet (4’x6’), and three feet by 10 feet (3’x10’) in the quantities specified in Attachment 1, Rate Sheet...
