A. General Provisions Contractor shall perform the following work: 1) Exterior spraying services shall be performed two (2) times monthly during normal work hours, between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except State holidays. Exterior spraying shall be performed the first (1st) and third (3rd) week of every month, while interior spraying shall be requested as needed. Recurring dates and times must be approved by Caltrans Contract Manager prior to spraying. 2) Pest control applications and trap applications may be performed during normal work hours between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except State holidays. Contractor shall check control applications and trap applications the first (1st) and third (3rd) week of every month, as well as on an on-call basis when requested by Caltrans Contract Manager. Spot inspection and/or treatment of interior common areas for general pests shall be done as requested by Caltrans Contract Manager. 3) Interior spraying services shall be performed at the request of Caltrans Contract Manager. Interior spraying areas shall be treated after Caltrans employees’ normal working hours, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, except State holidays. Caltrans Contract Manager must provide written pre-approval for afterhours spraying. 4) Services may be requested to eradicate an existing problem, as maintenance, and/or as a preventative measure. 5) Services shall include rodent control including but not limited to, setting rodent traps. The cost of rodent traps shall be billed per Attachment 1, Price Quote Proposal, Line Item 7. All unused traps shall be given to Caltrans Contract Manager at the end of the term Agreement. 6) Chemicals listed on Attachment B, List of Chemicals and Prohibited Pesticides are the only approved chemicals to be used on-site. Chemicals not listed must be approved by Caltrans Contract Manager, as described in this Exhibit A, Scope of Work, Section 7.G below. 7) Contractor shall make no structural modifications to any Caltrans buildings or facilities.
