A. Contractor shall supply, properly equipped, fully operated front end loader, or Medium Excavator (CAT 325 or Equivalent) with availability of a thumb attachment, and end-dump truck(s) or transfer truck trailer(s), or super dump trailers capable of hauling a minimum of 20 cubic yards. Equipment may include a water tanker to be used for dust suppression if needed to comply with air quality restrictions. Trucks operated for the services, shall be fully insured, fueled, and maintained by Contractor. B. Contractor equipment shall be inspected before loading and any damage documented. This is to protect Caltrans from being charged for prior damage to Contractor's equipment. Loads shall be covered with a tarpaulin by Contractor before leaving the loading site, if necessary. C. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, transport, materials, supplies, fuel, maintenance and incidentals necessary to haul stockpiled debris that includes sweeper waste, material picked up from catch basin using a vacuum truck, and slide material. D. Contractor shall inspect the materials before taking possession of the debris. The debris may include constitutes of concern, but these materials are not pre-determined to be hazardous waste. E. Material from non-Caltrans facilities shall not be co-mingled with Caltrans material.
