Regional Asset Gather – Aggregate Central Sierra assets into a filtering dataset to include anchor institutions, municipal, state, federal, right-of-ways and all applicable assets determined as a beneficial resource (as determined by Contractor and Director for Innovation and Business Assistance) for broadband infrastructure. 3.1.3. Local Governmental Policies 3.1.3.1 Current Policies in place across ordinances, general plans etc 3.1.3.2 Recommended Policies to implement across the 5-County Central Sierra for streamlining, expediting, and accelerating the deployment of broadband infrastructure. 3.1.4 Local Governmental Priorities – Assist in the creation of the top 5 priorities for broadband deployment in each of the 5 counties to assist in increased deployment, increased speeds and equitable access 3.1.5 Future Technology Considerations – Will satellites internet connectivity create better options, if we put fiber into the ground how long before this technology is obsolete, please address in the Central Sierra Broadband Roadmap how our counties future proof a public utility and it’s accessibility. 3.1.6 Aggregate Deployment Funds Availability 3.1.6.1 Public – Aggregate potential funding sources for State/Federal dollar broadband deployment investment for use by a public entity 3.1.6.2 Private – Aggregate potential funding sources for State/Federal dollar broadband deployment investment for use by a private organization and business 3.1.7 Public Private Partnership – Address how and if a potential public/private partnership would be of benefit for the Central Sierra region. Additionally, address how the region would move forward with such a program.
