The State shall have a CDFW staff member or its designated agent receive and inspect each shipment at the point of the stocking event. Said receiver will confirm shipment quantity, overall health and quality of fish, and ensure that water temperatures of transport water and receiving waters are acceptably equalized before release. The Contractor shall not release fish to receiving waters before the approval of said CDFW staff or its designee. 5.2 The health and condition of the fish shall be acceptable to CDFW and all dead or dying fish at delivery shall be removed from the site by the Contractor and the weight of such fish subtracted from the total weight of the load. 5.3 The accurate weights of delivery loads shall be guaranteed by the Contractor, and may be confirmed by CDFW or its designee either by direct weighing using an accurate, calibrated scale or by water displacement method...
