Meal Service - A. Breakfast 1) Contractor shall prepare an estimated 80-110 meals to be served. 2) Contractor shall serve meals during a one (1) hour service window between 06:00 a.m. – 07:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Confirmed with CAL FIRE Project Representative in monthly meetings. 3) Contractor shall confirm expected service window with CAL FIRE Project Representative in monthly meetings. 4) Breakfast service must include a balanced allocation of macronutrients consistent with the overall academy nutrition guidelines. 5) Each meal should contain 1,500 calories (50% Carbohydrates, 30% protein, 20% fat) 6) In addition to prepared entrees, breakfast shall include: a) An assortment of dry cereals. b) Oatmeal with an assortment of toppings including dried fruits, nuts, sweeteners, etc. c) A minimum of three (3) fruit options (these may be whole fresh fruits, or pre-prepared fruits).
