Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide Services, under procedures approved by the County, and consistent with laws, regulations, current health and mental health best practices and standards, and the Master Agreement. The Services shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 3.1 Intake and Enrollment 3.1.1 Process Participant Services referrals approved by the County. 3.1.2 Conduct a face-to-face screening within seven (7) business days of receiving a referral. A. If requested by the County and in urgent cases, a face-to-face screening of the Participants will be done within three (3) business days of receiving a referral, or any time frame as directed by the County. B. Begin Services to Participants within seven (7) business days after face-to-face screening is completed. Any extension to this timeframe requires a formal request by the Contractor to the County for approval. 3.1.3 Upon assignment of a Caregiver, notify the County staff and the Participant’s ICMS provider with the Caregiver’s name, contact information and their schedule. 3.2 Services The Contractor shall recruit Caregivers who in turn shall assist Participants with the following: 3.2.1 Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) ADLs collectively describes the fundamental skills required to independently care for oneself, such as eating, bathing, and mobility; it is used as an indicator of a person’s functional status. The inability to perform ADLs results in the dependence of other individuals and/or mechanical devices which may lead to unsafe conditions and poor quality of life.
