The Project is to design street improvements for the widening of Camino beginning at the ECR as shown on the plans for the proposed development on the west side of Camino Real and will continue south to Camino Real Elementary School. The widening work will include the necessary improvements to widen (from two to four lanes) the existing Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (“RCFC&WCD”) spillway and storm drain line extensions. Based on the City of Jurupa Valley General Plans Circulation of Element, Camino Real is classified as Secondary Highway with minimum of 100’ ROW. The project includes construction of new street improvements/widening with a striped center median, curb, gutter, sidewalk ADA curb ramps. No right of way acquisition services are necessary for the design of these improvements. The purpose of this Request of Proposals (RFP) is to select the most-qualified Consultant to provide the necessary design, including, familiarity with District standards, and be able to submit the plans for approval and obtaining the approval on behalf of the City.
