Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Montebello invites prospective vendors to submit a proposal to provide the necessary items and services to upgrade/replace the existing video security system. Currently, the City has a very antiquated video security system installed at various buildings and facilities. The system was initially installed as a method to enhance safety for visitors and employees by acting as a crime deterrent, providing situational awareness for security personnel and law enforcement responding to incidents, and to provide evidentiary video if an incident occurs. In addition to age, the current solution is comprised of multiple disjoined systems at various locations and facilities. The hardware and software vary in brand, technology, capacity, and capability. The City wishes to create a unified, centralized system that is capable of future expansion. Furthermore, the City is seeking on-going support services to ensure staff is trained how to property operate the system and for maintenance and repair services.
