A. The Mendocino County Public Health (MCPH) Department California Children’s Service (CCS) requires licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Senior Therapists, and/or Supervising Therapists to provide physical and occupational therapy treatment and services. The population involved would limited to; children aged 0-21 who have been approved for The CCS Medical Therapy Program (MTP). B. Scope of daily work would involve providing professional therapy services to children with physically disabling conditions. This would include evaluating, planning, providing direct patient care, and participation in care conferences with staff, parents, and community groups. The awarded role will work in collaboration with public health staff and nurses. Other duties may be assigned, but will not follow outside of the scope of practice for the awarded role.
