Specifications include, but are not limited to: The San Joaquin County Human Services Agency (HSA) is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a CalFresh Employment & Training (CFET) program offering participants opportunities to gain skills, training or experience that will improve their employment prospects and reduce their reliance on CalFresh benefits. The purpose of the CFET program is to increase the employment and earning capacity of CalFresh recipients by providing participants with the support needed to obtain skills and credentialing. The CFET program provides participants with case management services and access to basic education, work experience, training, and job search assistance, as well as supportive services to assist with expenses related to finding and retaining employment. CFET services will be funded for the period October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2026, with an option to extend up to two (2) years. Total funding each fiscal year shall not exceed the State allocation to the County for the purposes of the services contained in this RFP. A single contract will be awarded to the proposer whose submission is determined to be the most responsive to this RFP. The contract awarded for CFET services will be paid on a cost reimbursement basis.
