The District seeks to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to provide advanced support and hardware for disaster recovery with data backup and recovery. ● Encrypted automated backups (cloud and on-prem). ● Recovery point and time objectives (RPO/RTO) under 2 hours. ● Comprehensive disaster recovery plan. ● Regular test restores and reporting. ● Must support RUSD’s current backup environment which leverages VMWare ● Must support future virtual environments, such as a Nutanix cluster and HyperV ● Proposed solutions should incorporate hyper-converged infrastructure—compute, network, and storage—designed to simplify management and improve scalability. ● Vendors are encouraged to propose a "Good, Better, Best" scenario outlining solution tiers with varying features, scalability, and support options to meet current needs and support future expansion. ● Solution must support granular file-level restoration, full-system image recovery, and continuous data protection capabilities. ● The proposal should also include cloud failover options and the ability to meet business continuity requirements for critical systems.
