1. Onsite, comprehensive, quality, cost effective medical, dental, and mental health services for incarcerated persons at the jail located at 1410 Natividad Road, Salinas, CA 93906. 2. Pharmaceutical Management. 3. Respectful care resonating the core values of an individual’s right to health services. 4. Utilization of appropriate personnel in accordance with their scope of practice licensure in the State of California. 5. Onsite administrative leadership. 6. Administrative leadership that provides for both cost accountability and responsiveness to Monterey County Sheriff’s Office contract administrator. 7. Assurance that federal, state, and local regulations/requirements and national accrediting standards of care are met. 8. Provision of continuing education for staff as well as onsite emergency “man down drills” and disaster training. 9. Onsite discharge planner for those incarcerated persons hospitalized and those released from custody with special health issues/need. 10. Onsite utilization review nurse.
