Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals to retain the services of an expert consulting firm (Consultant) experienced in utility operations and bill presentment and payment processing solutions to: -Assist and support with selection of a paper and electronic bill presentment, mail, and electronic payment vendor -Provide experience, knowledge, expertise, insight, guidance, content, and specific recommendations to the Bill Presentment and Payment (BPP) project team regarding: -RFP development and evaluation and evaluation processes -Procurement coordination -Contract content negotiation strategies, tactics, and processes and participate in contract negotiations. -Satement of Work and Requirements definition for the resulting Bill Presentment and Payment vendor contract. -Develop, review, and modify documentation -Interact with BPP Proposers and SMUD personnel
