The Consultant shall be responsible for conducting, but not limited to, the following tasks: 1) Submittal Review – Review, approve, or reject Contractor submittals to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. 2) Full-Time Construction Observation – Conduct continuous on-site observation to ensure construction complies with approved plans, specifications, and regulations. 3) Daily Reporting – Prepare and distribute daily Construction Activity Logs, including weather, labor, equipment, activities, materials delivered, and photos. 4) Material Tracking – Monitor material deliveries and placements; maintain daily spreadsheet records, listing the material delivery slip date, quantity of material, slip number, and total materials delivered for each work day. 5) Working Days Tracking – Prepare and maintain the Caltrans Form CEM-2701, Weekly Statement of Working Days, to accurately track and document construction working days throughout the project. 6) RFI Management – Review and coordinate responses to Contractor’s Requests for Information (RFI) with relevant agencies. 7) Geotechnical Testing Oversight – Monitor geotechnical testing to confirm it aligns with project requirements. 8) Survey and Staking Review – Ensure all survey and construction staking work complies with project plans and specifications...
