Specifications include, but are not limited to: services, i.e., flashlights, communication devices/radio’s, crowd management, ticket taking, ushering, guest services, monitor and control of all access areas including gates at concert site and backstage areas; as requested by the California Exposition & State Fair (Cal Expo) for the annual California State Fair Concert Series and other special events. In addition, Contractor will monitor and provide event staff services for access control of ADA risers and VIP areas. 1. Contractor shall provide: a) Appropriate number of consistent staff, supervisors and event managers for each event, as agreed to by Cal Expo’s concert production manager. b) Appropriate number of staff to set up and remove seating in concert venue (approximately 3,500 seats) and to set up/remove crowd control barricades when necessary. c) Event staff personnel to handle ticketing issues, i.e. duplicate seats, sightline issues, ADA issues, artist’s complimentary tickets, trouble seats and all access areas around site, backstage area and VIP section. d) Event staff personnel capable of preventing and deterring unapproved entry to all secured areas including the stage itself. e) Event staff personnel with skills to observe and identify potential situations within concert area that could lead to potentially critical results and if necessary take direction from venue public safety officers. 2. Contractor’s staff must wear identifiable clothing during events. 3. Cal Expo shall provide to Contractor, free of charge, an appropriate number of parking passes and a small office for storage and check-in.
