This scope of work (SOW) requires the vendor to remanufacture a fire damaged CAT C13 main engine, serial number LEE24435, from a 2009 WAUSAU DF3500 dual engine rotary snowplow, serial number 1F9AH28F89CST1051 (Caltrans Eq ID 7005038). This vendor’s scope of work includes the following, - Inspect and evaluate the engine for criteria of core credit approval. - Supply long block and all external parts damaged by the fire. - Disassemble, replace, and reassemble engine parts including external engine components to provide a complete, remanufactured engine assembly. - Test the remanufactured engine assembly with a dynamometer, record and validate results, and provide test results to Caltrans. - Provide all necessary labor and materiel to complete work. - Perform work in accordance with engine OEM recommendations and shop manuals.
