The following bullet points outline the scope of work: • Investigates complaints from the public and staff regarding violations of the municipal codes, ordinances, standards, and health and safety regulations. • Initiates contact with residents, business representatives, and other parties to explain the nature of the violations and encourage compliance with municipal codes, zoning, land use ordinances and community standards. • Conducts field inspections, gathers supporting evidence, maintains case files. • Work with ComCate, the city’s computerized code enforcement tracking system. • Prepares notices of violation for non-compliance according to applicable codes and regulations. • Effectively creates and administers a management protocol that quickly and fairly resolves code enforcement matters. • Prepares compliance schedules for violators that help lead them to full compliance with respect to the severity and circumstances of the case. • Coordinate with Revenue Experts, the city’s contract collection survive, for all citations, fines and fees
