The scope of services may include, but is not limited to, the following: ¿ Preparation of Pre-Schematic Design documents, feasibility studies that may include topographic surveying and reviewing geotechnical and environmental studies, and Rough Order of Magnitude (R.O.M.) budgets for the University¿s use to procure funding for projects. ¿ Preparation of Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Drawings and Specifications in adherence with the following: 1. Applicable regulations 2. UCI¿s Campus Fire Marshal 3. UCI¿s Facilities Management Engineering team 4. UCI Campus Standards and Design Criteria and CAD Standards 5. Any other requirements required by law and/or by the University ¿ Coordination and incorporation of other design disciplines as necessary to prepare complete Construction Documents. ¿ Construction Administration, including attendance at weekly construction coordination meetings and review of Requests for Information. ¿ Preparation of as-built drawings in AutoCAD or Civil 3D. ¿ Programming and/or cost estimating, including the development of a DPP (Detailed Project Program). The nature and scope of projects will vary and may include, but are not limited to: ¿ Site development (i.e. grading and drainage) ¿ Structures (i.e. slabs and retaining walls) ¿ Transportation (i.e. traffic studies, traffic signals and pavement markings, asphalt and concrete pavement sections, bike and pedestrian paths) ¿ Pedestrian and accessibility improvements ¿ Urban planning and landscaping ¿ Rehabilitation of aging campus infrastructure (i.e. stormwater, potable water, recycled water, and wastewater pipes)
