The City Park Rebuild project aims to revitalize Corona's oldest park, City Park. Spanning 20.54 acres, City Park is centrally located at 930 E. Sixth Street within Corona's historic district. This extensive redevelopment will feature the following key elements: Community Center • A 70,000-square-foot, single-story facility featuring: o Lobby and administrative offices o Gymnasium and game room o Public restrooms, showers, and locker rooms o Banquet room and conference room o Classrooms and group fitness area o Outdoor patio and support spaces Aquatic Center • 9,000-square-foot activity pool with a lazy river, water slides, and a hot tub • 10-lane lap swimming pool • 3,500-square-foot pool maintenance building • Seating and shaded areas Additional Recreational Features • Multi-use field known as the "Community Canvas," featuring 150,000 square feet of grass space • Splashpad • Iconic playground • Two exterior basketball courts • "All-Wheel Friendly Plaza" skate park • Botanic garden • 1-mile walking loop designed for food trucks, maintenance vehicles, and emergency access Amenities and Infrastructure • Four picnic shelters • Pre-engineered restroom building • Landscaping and irrigation improvements, preserving 12 trees and relocating 65 historic trees
