Project consists of volunteer barrier removal items in five (5) classrooms: two (2) on the 1st floor and three (3) on the 2nd floor. Work includes other improvements through alterations. Work primarily involves the altering of existing non-compliant casework; replacement of existing door and casework hardware to compliant hardware; hazardous material abatement; minor wall modifications for accessibility training equipment; enlargement of one (1) door opening; VCT flooring replacement & painting. Path of Travel upgrades include: - Interior ramp at 1st floor - Making the existing non-compliant multi user restroom 119B into a compliant unisex restroom to serve the 1st floor area of work - Providing High-low drinking fountain with cane detection to serve the 1st floor area of work. - Various barrier removal work for rooms 114, 115, 209, 210 & 212.
