Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Replace all existing card readers, door controller and intelligent controllers (intelligent field panels), while retaining and utilizing all existing electronic locks, door position switches, request-to-exit devices, and ancillary alarm devices where installed. 2. In some cases, the existing access control doors only utilize door controllers, card readers and electronic locks. In the remaining cases, the existing access control doors utilize door position switches and request-to-exit devices as well. In addition, there are a limited number of existing ancillary alarm devices and output controls that are connected to the existing systems. In all cases, existing electronic locks, door position switches, request-to-exit devices, and ancillary alarm devices must be connected to the new associated controller and configured to operate as directed by UCDH.
