The nursery supplier shall indicate on their bid response the geographic origin of container plant materials listed in Tables 1 through 4. All container species specified for PDL mitigation areas (Tables 1-3) shall be grown from stock collected from within an approximate 10-mile radius of PDL. Container species for the PDL viewshed protection and site beautification projects (Tables 4-5) shall be grown from stock collected within southern California and as close to the landfill property as economically and ecologically feasible. Container species specific for OAL (Table 10) shall be grown from stock collected within south Los Angeles County (limited to areas south of State Route 60, east of Interstate 605, and west of State Route 71) and within north and central Orange County. All container species specified for FRB Landfill (Tables 6-7) and Coyote Canyon Landfill, and Santiago Canyon Landfill shall be grown from stock collected from central and southern Orange County. All of the container species specified for Prima Deshecha Landfill mitigation (Tables 1-3) shall be grown from stock collected from within an approximate 10-mile radius of the Prima Deshecha Landfill. Container species for the Prima Deshecha Landfill viewshed protection and site beautification projects (Tables 4-5) shall be grown from stock collected within southern California and as close to the landfill property as economically and ecologically feasible. Containter species specific for Santiago Oaks Regional park (Tables 8-9) shall be sourced from the Santiago Canyon watershed which includes Santiago Canyon, Limestone Canyon, and the following Orange County cities: Irvine, North Tustin, and Orange. Contract-grown species shall be sourced from seed, provided by the County, which has been collected directly from their respective impact/mitigation sites. If plant materials within these specified areas are not available for a particular species, plants of other origins may be accepted by the OCWR Project Manager and/or Biological Resources Monitor or Biologist under contract with the County, as delegated by OCWR.
