Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1: Data Collection The consultant will collect data that assesses the needs of existing businesses. Utilizing local and regional business organizations is highly encouraged. Regional studies and statistics are also recommended. Task 2: Focus groups and Roundtables Conduct a minimum of two focus groups and/or roundtables to assess the needs of a Business Resource and Innovation Center. The purpose will be to study the needs of businesses, what resources would encourage job growth, and understand the gap in entrepreneur resources and programs. Task 3: Develop an inventory of business services and resources Through the data collection process, the consultant will develop an inventory of available services and resources for the business community in West Sacramento. In addition, the inventory will assess any gaps of services and additional resources that would be beneficial
