Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.0 Assist with the drafting of an RFP and the evaluation and selection of an ERP system that would best fit the needs of the City. 2.0 The development of a plan that should propose a strategy for implementing the recommendations resulting from the findings. The City expects this plan to span several years and to include a schedule identifying which changes should be put into practice immediately, over time, and/or with the implementation of new software. The plan should provide recommendations on changes that can be made immediately utilizing existing systems, as well are recommendations for changes that are more long term or would require new systems to implement. 3.0 Identify specific online services and software, including but not limited to, permit filing, plan submission, geo-mapping for inspections, and online payments, that can be incorporated into any new permitting and inspections software, as well as other features or enhancements (e.g. customer relationship management software/tools) that can be implemented to enhance productivity, efficiency, and transparency.
