Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Modesto is seeking bids for a contractor to provide building intrusion alarm services at various City of Modesto facilities. A. Minimum Qualifications: The successful Contractor shall have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing intrusion alarm system services for commercial sites. The successful Contractor shall have the technical capability and employ a sufficient number of trained technicians to meet the needs of the City. 1) Contractor shall provide monitoring for all intrusion security systems 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. 2) Contractor shall be available by telephone to acknowledge a service call(s) within five (5) minutes of report of an intrusion detection. 3) Contractor shall physically respond to the site within two (2) hours of report of an equipment failure notification, for emergency repairs. 4) Contractor shall make service available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. B. The successful proposer shall furnish the following services: 1) The Contractor shall provide electronic monitoring of building intrusion alarm systems installed at locations listed in the Form C - Pricing Schedule (pg. 20-21), under task orders authorized in writing by the City Project Manager. 2) The City shall provide the Contractor with a call list for notification purposes. In the event of an alarm condition generated by any sensor, the Contractor shall immediately notify the City of the situation within 2-minutes. Successful proposer will receive contact information and procedures to follow. 3) The Contractor shall be responsible for the operation and maintenance of communicators at the identified locations, but shall not be responsible for the maintenance of City telephone lines.
