Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Replacement HP Units shall be Carrier (Trane, York or equivalent). a. Santiago Canyon College: Building D Existing HP/HVAC Equipment. 2. Units shall be furnished with full economizer sections for “free cooling” from Outside Air. a. Acceptable – Manufacturer recommended Economizer sections. b. Economzer sections must interface and work properly with HVAC standard signal compatibility from the factory installed controller (i.e., 0 – 10 VDC, 4 – 20 MA, 2 – 10 VDC) signals. Phase – cut signals are not acceptable. c. Economizer sections are to be color coordinated paint finish, and rated with 500 – hour salt spray test. 3. Supply and Return ductwork replacement. a. Contractor is responsible for taking proper measurements and to provide a submittal on the replacement ductwork in compliance with current CA Title 24 requirements. b. New ductwork and associated materials are to be of equal or stronger gauge thickness. Materials are to be properly galvanized for outdoor installations. c. New insulation to be furnished and installed correctly inside ductwork. d. Connections and fittings to be provided to minimize leakage to less than 2.5%. e. Ductwork is to be wiped down to remove any film, primed with Kilz or equivaleentt, and painted. f. “DTM” (Direct to Metal) paint products are to be used with a minimum two (2) coats of paint.
