A. Contractor shall blow into place and apply wood chip mulch using wood chip mulch blowing truck. Wood chip mulch must be applied uniformly at a depth of four inches (4”) inches, unless otherwise specified. All efforts shall be made to apply wood chip mulch only to specified areas of request (quadrant, shoulder, center median). B. Contractor shall provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all crew members. Crew members shall wear safety garments at all times while at the job site along the State right of way while working near moving traffic. C. Contractor shall ensure that only qualified and competent staff are permitted at the job site, and the work shall be safely performed. D.
