Work will be authorized by Capital Strategies on an as-needed basis throughout the duration of the BCEC. Work may include, but not be limited to, the following: ● Conduct site surveys to document and map existing landscape and habitat conditions; ● Conduct preconstruction focused surveys for bats and Crotch’s and western bumble bees and nesting birds, and develop avoidance measures as appropriate; ● Conduct evaluations of trees to be removed for designation as specimen trees; ● Provide CEQA strategy advice; ● Map and delineate wetlands and jurisdictional waters of the United States; ● Provide strategic regulatory permitting advice; ● Coordinate with University staff and resource agencies to obtain necessary regulatory permits, and other related services; ● Provide guidance on implementing mitigation measures, and monitoring compliance of mitigation measures during project construction; and ● Map production, spatial analysis, datasets management and data collection. Familiarity with ESRI data management products is desired.
