All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Portable charging unit with the following salient characteristics: 1. POWER SUPPLY: Power supply to the portable charging unit is 65 amp, 480V AC, wall socket 2. POWER OUTPUT: 50kW maximum 3. CHARGING CONNECTION STANDARD (CCS): SAE J1772 (CCS type-1) 4. ENCLOSURE: NEMA 3R with the following salient characteristics: a. Protection against incidental contact with enclosed equipment b. Protection from falling dirt, rain, sleet and/or snow c. Drainage provision d. Protection against rain at a level higher than the lowest live part e. Alternate locking and latching mechanisms available 5. MANUALS: Two (2) hard-copy sets of operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals 6. WARRANTY: Minimum 12-month original equipment manufacturer (OEM) warranty, to include parts and labor 01.03 Contractor Responsibilities 1. Damaged Materials or Equipment: Any materials or equipment found to be damaged or defective at the time of delivery and are the Contractor’s responsibility shall be repaired, replaced or corrected by the Contractor hereunder without additional cost to NCTD. If the Contractor shall fail to comply within a reasonable time with any order of the Executive Director to repair/replace or correct damaged or defective work, then the Executive Director shall, upon written notice to the Contractor, have the authority to deduct the reasonable cost thereof from any compensation due to the Contractor. 2. Warranty of the Work: The Contractor warrants to NCTD that all materials and equipment furnished under an awarded contract will be of highest quality and new unless otherwise specified by NCTD, free from faults and defects and in conformance with the contract documents. All materials and equipment not conforming to these standards shall be considered defective. If required by NCTD’s designated representative, the Contractor shall furnish satisfactory evidence as to the kind and quality of all supplied materials and equipment. The work shall be safe, substantial, and durable construction in all respects.
