Specifications include, but are not limited to: All containers shall be placed at CDCR’s Wastewater/Sewage Treatment Plant Bar Screen area. Screening containers, as specified in Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet, in use are to be picked up and returned empty. A schedule will be provided by the CDCR Contract Liaison or designee. Removal and disposal are to meet the requirements of the County Environmental Health Services Department and the County Public Works Department. Disposal of the waste shall be at an approved Sanitary Landfill(s) regulated by the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). All Contractor provided services shall be in accordance with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Domestic sewage waste storage containers shall be steam cleaned by the Contractor on an as-needed basis and/or at the request of the CDCR Contract Liaison or designee. Steam cleaning shall not be performed on State property unless specifically requested by the CDCR Contract Liaison or designee and shall be completed at the Contractor’s expense. The CDCR reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of containers and/or the frequency of pickups during the duration of the Agreement. The Contractor shall pick up full containers only and will be paid in accordance with the rates specified on Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet. The Contractor shall pick up the full container and return the container empty. All containers are to have lid covers made of double walled plastic (i.e. duraflex or equivalent thereof) that are easily opened and closed; they are to be hinged on the back of the bin to flip all the way down when open, unless otherwise specified. Containers and lids may not have excess metal on, or inside which could be removed. In the event that a container becomes damaged, the Contractor shall, within forty-eight (48) hours of notification, repair or replace the lids or the containers.
