1. Installation/Removal/Change-Out Schedule CONTRACTOR shall be notified in writing of installation/removal/change-out requests as soon as practical by CITY. All changes to said schedule and/or plot plan shall be made a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the effective date of the change(s). CITY will contact CONTRACTOR to confirm two (2) weeks prior to installation/removal/change-out date. The installation/removal/change-out schedule is subject to change as CITY banner requirements and funding availability changes. A sample schedule is shown below: a) Nov 1-Jan 5 Installation/removal of Holiday pole decorations such as Bishop Ranch Holiday Décor, holiday banners, and/or wreaths with candles, no more than 150. Installation required between November 1 and November 15. A penalty of $50 per day will be instituted if the Bishop Ranch holiday decor, holiday wreaths, pole garland, and banners are not installed by November 15. b) Apr 15-Jun 15 Installation/removal of Art & Wind Festival banners, no more than 50. 2. Site Preparation and Plot Plan a) CITY shall provide location and pole numbers of CITY-owned street light poles for the installation of banners or pole mounted decorations. b) CONTRACTOR shall submit for an encroachment permit two (2) weeks prior to installation with an application, drawing or sketch of the work in the City right-of-way with dimensions in an 8’x11” or 11”x17” sheet, a traffic control plan, and the estimated number of work days/times from start to completion of work in the City right-of-way only. c) CONTRACTOR shall use mounting brackets compatible with existing hardware. d) CITY shall provide electrical service to the poles, where necessary, for the installation and CONTRACTOR shall provide maintenance for operation of any lit pole mounted decorations. 3. Storage/Transportation/Maintenance a) All banners, pole decorations, and mounting brackets to be stored and transported by CONTRACTOR as necessary to complete the specified service. b) During storage period, banners shall be rolled and stored in a secure enclosed location, not exposed to sunlight or folded. c) CONTRACTOR will provide maintenance on lit pole mounted decorations and repair/replace lights prior to installation as needed. d) Quantity of materials for storage is estimated as the following: Bishop Ranch Holiday Décor – 66 pieces Holiday Lit Candle Wreaths and Pole Garland – 135 pieces Banners (Holiday & Art & Wind) – 150 pieces
