The Project consists of replacing existing automatic circuit control with an automatic transfer system; replacing four (4) centrifugal pumps; upgrading the wet well; upgrading two (2) generators; replacing sump pump piping and wet well piping; upgrading lighting; replacing railings, stairways, doors, and grates; replacing/upgrading hatches; providing new sluice gate; upgrading the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) in the control room; upgrading and remodeling outdated and dilapidated restrooms in conformance with Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC); adding protective anti-graffiti coating to the outside walls; and upgrading entrance gate to plant. Table 1 provides information about the existing pumps and motors. Table 2 covers the items to repair, rehabilitate, evaluate, upgrade, or replace. Table 3 discloses the pumping plant data.
